This lecture is delivered in person by Sonia Nicolson (former head of 1st year Interior Architecture at AUB) and gives an overview of the subject of Interior Architecture, highlighting the main differences in the roles and responsibilities of the Interior Designer, Interior Architect, and Architect within spatial design.

This lecture is designed for students looking to apply to study Interior Architecture at University or College level.

We start by introducing the subject of Interior Architecture and go over what an Interior Architectural Designer does, and what you will be required to study when training to become one. Using a mixture of industry and student projects, we show the work undertaken and skills learned in this subject to complete the work of an Interior Architectural Designer.

Over the past 15 years, I have worked as a British chartered Architect, Senior Lecturer at a top UK Arts University, Academic Represented with the British Council, and External Examiner at a number of leading design schools. I now run my own at-home design studio and have taught thousands of students through my courses and online coaching.
