12 Aðalgata, Stykkishólmur - Original Architectural Sketch
12 Aðalgata, Stykkishólmur is an original hand-drawn architectural sketch created in black ink on location in Stykkishólmur, Iceland. Drawn by architect and artist Sonia Nicolson (Reykjavik Sketcher), the piece documents a specific Icelandic street address, capturing the character, proportion, and everyday architecture of this historic coastal town.
This is a one-of-a-kind original artwork, not a print or reproduction. Once sold, it will not be recreated.
About the Artwork
This drawing depicts 12 Aðalgata, one of the main streets in Stykkishólmur, and forms part of the ongoing Reykjavik Sketcher series. Created while walking through the town, the sketch reflects a slow, observational approach to architecture, focusing on real buildings as they exist in place, rather than idealised representations.
Each Reykjavik Sketcher original is drawn entirely by hand and exists as a single, unique artwork.
