This house at number 3 caught my attention with its simple form and the way it rests within the street. I sketched it to capture the feel of a neighbourhood that still holds onto its older charm.

Hi, I’m Sonia - architect, educator, and the artist behind Reykjavík Sketcher. I hand-draw Iceland’s architecture and landscapes, blending traditional techniques with modern minimalism. My work is inspired by the place I call home, Reykjavík, and the creative journeys of the students and women I teach.
